The Community Relations Assistant reports to the Outreach Director and supports outreach efforts on behalf of the organization. The Community Relations Assistant manages and trains docents and volunteers, and provides event support. The Community Relations Assistant works collaboratively with fellow VLT staff, board members, committee members, and volunteers in all outreach endeavors.
This position will be paid $20-$22 per hour, with a flexible, 20-hour per week commitment through the end of the year. The position will be eligible for full-time hours and benefits beginning in 2024.
This position can be considered hybrid as aspects of the labor requirements can be completed from home; however, certain responsibilities will require an in-person presence in the Ventura, California, community.
