*Southland Law Suit: Is a law suit your worst nightmare? Be briefed on a law suit filed here in the Southland and review the available methods of mitigating the danger of your land trust’s involvement in a law suit.
* Managing Organizational Risk: Commercial General Liability? “Personal Injury”? Directors & Officers? Title Insurance? Terrafirma? There’ll be a half hour presentation in the morning and an optional post-meeting round table discussion from 3-4:30 with real live legal eagles.
* The Sacramento Report: Get an update on State Policy and Funding, the Park Bond and the volunteerism legislation.
* Conservation Horizons Final Report Findings: What are other land trusts doing to maneuver their land trust into the future? What does your board think about the data and trends presented in the Horizons Report?
* Take It Outside California!: What’s happening statewide? What is your land trust planning? Which other private/public entities can you partner with? What kind of public relations are you planning to mesh with CCLT’s efforts?
