CNRA Study Research Survey for Organizations: Help Support California’s Climate-Ready Workforce for Nature-Based Solutions

Survey Link: https://bit.ly/_nature-based_solutions

Why This Matters – Your feedback will 1) help identify workforce challenges and gaps in training or recruitment; 2) provide insights into hard-to-fill occupations, hiring pipelines, and informal labor practices; and 3) shape regional training, policy strategies, and investments needed to meet California’s climate and economic goals.

Who Should Participate – We are seeking input from employers, contractors, program managers, and operations leads in any organization that plans, funds, staffs, or implements projects related to NBS. Your perspective—whether you oversee field crews, manage projects, run a small business, or administer environmental grants—is critical to this effort.

What are Nature-Based Solutions (NBS)? NBS are all the ways land can be managed to boost the health and resilience of natural systems, helping them store carbon and protect against climate change impacts (e.g., wildfire, flooding, drought, extreme heat, and/or sea level rise).

What to Expect – The survey should take 15–20 minutes to complete.

Confidentiality – All responses will be reported in aggregate. Individual data will not be shared outside the research team. If you wish to receive findings or participate in follow-up discussions, please provide your contact information at the end of the survey.
