JOB DESCRIPTION
Big Sur Land Trust is seeking a Conservation Easement Specialist to help protect and steward thousands of acres of Monterey County’s most treasured landscapes. This role is perfect for someone passionate about conservation, detail-oriented, and skilled in both fieldwork and office-based compliance programs.
What You’ll Do:
- Monitor and manage conservation easements and fee lands
- Build strong relationships with landowners
- Conduct field monitoring and GIS data collection
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in natural resources or related field
- 2–3 years of experience in conservation or land management
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Advanced GIS experience (ArcGIS Pro)
Location: Monterey, CA
Salary: $66k–$72k + competitive benefits
