📍 Holiday Inn Capitol Plaza, Sacramento

Registration: $45 (includes a light lunch)

Join us for a half-day training on California state appraisal standards, designed specifically for land trust professionals, with an emphasis on land protection conservation easements. This session will provide practical insights into current appraisal requirements and best practices for land conservation staff to contract, distinguish and receive strong appraisals relevant to conservation work.

The training will feature two of California’s most experienced conservation appraisers: Todd Murphy, ARA, MAI of Central California Appraisals, and Pierre Ratte, Acquisition Specialist, Sonoma County Agricultural Preservation and Open Space District. They will provide perspective on appraisal contracting and review from a land trust’s perspective.

This seminar and reduced registration fee are made possible through a grant from the California Wildlife Conservation Board and the collaborative efforts of the California Council of Land Trusts and the California Chapter of the American Society of Farm Managers and Rural Appraisers.

Attendees are encouraged to join us for the Legislative Awards Reception at The Mix Downtown from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM. Register separately for the Legislative Reception below.
